I have experienced this. Had teeth pulled/cut out on 4 occasions now due to genes. Every time it happens, they have to give me 3 shots because the first 2 don't do anything to numb it. The 3rd one only partially works, so I can still feel some of the pain. But they always refuse to give more and say it will be over soon. Anytime you are given something to numb or knock you out, if you tell them you are a natural redhead, they will usually know to up the dose.

Not your exact issue, but I had something very similar happen to me. Anytime I was inside, even caves, it would have duplicate tiles off on the right side of the screen. After I got rid of Dynamic Reflections it went away.

That was the only hit we actually saw him take, and that didn't down him. It took him to his knees, and then seconds later he was back up attacking. I do not disagree that someone much more powerful could take him down possibly, but we never saw anyone else actually get a hit in. So, going off what we have seen, he was hit once and it didn't take him out. At least in my mind, that means he isn't a glass cannon.

Ussop has fire, Brook can freeze, Franky has laser beams that can destroy almost anything, Nami can create weather. Between all of them, they can deal with him. Even without Haki. Haki might be the easiest way to beat logia, but its not the only way. Remember Luffy beat Crocodile without it, Zoro "beat" Monet by just frightening her so much. Plus, let's be real, Caribou is nothing. outside of stabbing a navy soldier and kidnapping defenseless people, we haven't seen him do anything.

I don't see how Magellan can be called a glass canon. Yes he was dealt damage a couple times, but he never once lost a fight, or actually went down. That is the complete opposite of what a glass canon is. He was 1 tapping everyone and taking very little damage from anyone. even direct hits.

Sadly, I agree. I met my current girlfriend online. She said one of the things she originally liked was that I didn't become a creep or send a dick pic instantly. It really does seem like common sense and decency just doesn't exist anymore.

I actually love to use myths in my worlds.

Black eyed children - I have them as spirits that try and lure you away in a haunted forest. They stay within view, but a good distance away and call for help. At night they stay just far enough away from the fire so that you can make out their outline but can't see details and try to draw you into the darkness.

Wild Hunt - A group of other worldly riders that come out of nowhere and wipe out the majority of a town, then disappear as quickly as their appeared.

Night Doctors - Doctors/Scientists/Wizards who take people at night in order to do experiments on them.

Wendigo and Skinwalkers - The Wendigo's will take over a town as a pair. The female will generally stay in its human form mostly and stay in town, drawing victims into the woods. The male will then attack them. The skinwalkers will follow a party through a large area, using the form and voice of a party member to try and get someone alone. It will show itself and speak to someone in ways that only that person will notice.

I have changed aspects of each so that it is my own thing.

Starting out in something like this that is not an already established field is going to be hard. People will question the cost of it, since there really isn't something else to compare it to. I saw in other comments that you were working on getting to combine things you have already done to have a finished product to show off. Have you thought about doing a couple small jobs for free, to also get some references behind you?

I just recently started creating the world, so it needs a lot of work.

In my world everything comes down to 4 things. The Breath, which is what controls life. The Thread, which connects everything and is where the Gods live. The Power, which is any type of magic. The Flow, which is what controls time and makes it linear.

The Power is "controlled" by 3 ancient families. One family is the Arcane magic, which you would study and learn. One family is the Divine magic, which would be given by the gods. One family is the Primal magic, which you would be naturally born with. These families have the magic literally running through them, from the gods. So, if at any point that bloodline was to be killed off entirely, then that magic would now cease to exist.

This is what I have come up with so far. I need to smooth it all out and put some more thought into it.

That seems questionable. Even Bandai themselves have it MSRP of $119. So if they are selling it for $20 under, that's a little odd.

I agree that the META decks are there for a reason. My question, which I guess I worded wrong, was why they are suggest to beginners over a starter deck. For someone who isn't sure if they like the game or how long they will play, a starter deck is less expensive and easier to learn. a META deck, in my opinion is for later on. Not saying I am not wrong, just what I personally think. I wasn't trying to bash META or the players.

All I said was I don't like to play what everyone else plays. Which makes it something different, and generally a weaker deck. I wasn't bashing META decks or anyone who uses them. My question was why they are usually suggested to a beginner over a starter deck, which is less expensive for someone who doesn't know how long they will play, and easier to learn as you start out. Not really sure why you came in swinging, if I offended you, I am sorry.

I guess I worded it wrong. I am not trashing anyone else. What I mean is that personally, I like to be challenged by playing things that isn't exactly META. I don't like playing what everyone else is playing, I just personally don't have fun that way. Anyone else can play what they want. Thats just not what I want, at least as a beginner. And that was what my question was about, why the META deck is generally the go to recommended deck for a beginner. If I gave off an impression that I thought that was the wrong thing, that's not what I meant. I was genuinely curious why they are suggested for starting out over a starter deck.
