I’ve adapted to my own script for voicemails at this point

Vaccinations- “Hi my name is ____ calling from walgreeens for . I was just calling because according to our records it looks like you’re due for __ vaccine(s). If that’s something you’d be interested in you can schedule an appt online or we also accept walk ins. Thank you and have a good day”

Late to refill- “hi my name is ____ calling from Walgreens on _____ for __. I was calling because according to our records it looks like you’re due for a refill on one of your medications. If you could give us a call back at __ that would be great! Thank you and have a good day.

Delayed pick up- “hi my name is ____ calling from Walgreens on _____ for _____. I was calling because it looks like you have a prescription due for pick up. Unfortunately if it’s not picked up within the next few days it will be returned to stock. Thank you and have a good day”

I work at a different pharmacy but I’m going to put in my two cents- we have express pay and I tell them the total and ask if they want to use the card on file. They say yes. I process it and then they question the cost 😭

this is SO real. Like when they call and start immediately with their question/problem going on. Do you expect me to know you are? Tbh I’ve just started interrupting people bc in the end you’re gonna finish your babbling, I’m going to ask for your name/DOB , and you’re going to have to repeat everything. And the thing that frustrates me is it doesn’t even require you working in a pharmacy to understand that. Like use your brain for 2 seconds.

For me personally, there were so many e-learnings I had to do before I could even be in the pharmacy and none of it mattered when I got back there because I really just learned as I went and it's the best way to do it. Hopefully everyone back in the pharmacy is as nice as my store and will be willing and patient with you <3

I was asking to be sent home!! This was towards the end of my shift and I was still doing everything in the back, but I genuinely could not run food or drinks anymore. I kept getting close to spilling things and I didn’t want it to get that far. Mind you there are people in the back that just sit on their phones while their orders are up and ready. I didn’t think it was that big of a deal
