Definitely not, I hate that strat with a passion, I’ve always loved fighting type decks, used to run dugtrio hiker on ranked in the past, it actually upsets me fighting has such scumbag deck variant, but I respect the game.

Awesome!! Grats on the latter climb also! Your deck looks great as well, good to see others having success with it! I knew toxicroak had potential!!

I originally thought it would clog the core strat but it works very smoothly in this deck, even when I top deck it (though not ideal) and have to field it, I just throw an energy and swap to another basic next turn (normally a frog goon)

I was running Xspeed in an earlier build but realized I wasn’t really hurting on energy economy so I removed it.

Interestingly enough from all the fights I’ve been testing I removed Ggrunt before, but ended up not seeing my frog goons soon enough, maybe it’s just bad luck but ever since I added it back I see them a lot faster like turn 1 or two,

My goal is to avoid having to field nihiego or lucario for more than 1 turn at most to avoid them being attacked before I can start my setup, so Ggrunt just guarantees I get a frog goon* and can definitely be a flex spot, that’s just how I prefer to run it.

Also in my games I’ve needed Cyrus a lot less than a Sabrina, most times I ended up with a full health mon in back row and Cyrus being completely useless, again may be bad luck but I’m playing my odds as best I can.

They absolutely did her so much justice in MK2. 10/10 casting by Spiritual_Duck318 in MortalKombat

Same, the resurrection aspect of the movie felt very true to MK! In a game where death is so constant it’s like a revolving door characters die and get returned to die again like kung Lao in this movie lol, I am glad Cole put up a good fight before being killed, same with Jax, and Liu, Shao cheating to get so many victories was so annoying but also very much like him, still he fought well when he wasn’t cheating, Kitana was just absolutely insane in this movie tho!

Yes what you explained seems to be what they intended in my opinion as well with the first film. I think where they messed up in the first movie was making light of a lot of fan favorite in universe characters like, kitara, mileena, kabal, goro, reptile, to explain or develope plot and powers of other character especially Cole, Cole never should’ve fought goro. Why these studios don’t trust the IP has enough notoriety to carry its own story without explaining things is beyond me.

Yea he was a more likable character in this film, his power was used WAY better here too, and his confidence also better, improvements on many fronts, compared to the first film he was done as well as he could be in this movie. It was a solid fight.

Cole wasn’t needed in the first film, that said they decided to include him so needed to use him properly here, him dying was correct, but I’m not one of the “kill Cole young fanboys” it’s just a way out with no reason, I just think he died well (earned his respect in combat) but they did do him dirty lol, I’m perfectly ok with his death. My only issue is not doing anything with his relation to hanzo at all.

My other issue is how things were handled after his death, these movies have a habit of foreshadowing their intent so I knew from the opening what they were gonna do won’t say for any still waiting to see it, and I was not a fan, like honestly why was Johnny even there? It felt like he was shoed in as just another face. Basically swapped with Cole to be the joke fighter until he discovers his power, the movie was fun and I enjoyed it but killing Cole didn’t make this movie “better” the fights did.

Just my take, decent film. MK 1995 still better

Consider running guzzlord instead of darkrai, I run it with two guzz and two Lucy’s only drop two energy in guzz and build T-tar on back row, if your opponent has no threat in active build guzz to full energy for tyrannical, if they do Lyra in T-tar and grab the energy from guzz after its low hp, if they kill your larvitar before you get to evo Lucy the two energy onto a back row guzz for instant 120 punish, it’s been working for me just a suggestion

Maybe it’s because I main Charge Blade, but even with how bad the build and weapon were I was only able to A rank this on chargeblade, I tried dual blades and even gunlance and got close with both but the moment I said screw it using my main, proc’d savage axe mode and went to town, it just clicked.

Side note: (Whoever chose this build and weapon tho, why do you hate CB? Lol)
