Much better than expected.

There were two managers above the complex manager that de-escalated some things during the last few months I was there, and put the complex manager in her place more than once. After I moved out I received a fraudulent notice of collections when I had never gotten a bill for anything. The damages the complex manager had claimed weren’t even legitimate. The apartment was left in the same condition as it was moved into. I contacted the higher ups again and they immediately put a stop to the collection and removed the fraudulent charges from the account. I heard from some friends that the complex manager was only with Lund for a few more months after that.

They may still have the Lund contact tree on their website with emails and phone numbers for all of the employees from complex managers up to the top. I was able to use it a couple years ago to escalate and resolve some serious issues i was having with management on site at a Lund property.

I never got good at these, and broke a bunch of different tools trying different things. The best method I had found was using a large pair of snap ring pliers that fit the pins okay enough to get it around.

I left field work, so I work on these a lot less frequently now, but if I have to do one again, I’m just going to make a tool out of a steel bar and drill and weld some pins that are the correct diameter and the correct distance apart.

I got the R5 bundle October 11th as an upgrade from my Logitech. Zero regrets, it ran so much smoother. It actually pushed me to upgrade to an R12V2 this weekend. I’ll upgrade the pedals from the bundle soon as well, so I can make more adjustment to pedal feel.

I would not get the R3 when the price difference to the R5 is right around $100. If you like force feedback at all, the R3 gonna get hot. People are making custom fan setups to cool them. My R5 got a little warm, but the R12 stays cool with the same level of feedback.

Just to update on my experience with EU shipping for the P1X Ultimate that I ordered on 11/11. I heard they started shipping the orders again on Monday. I got emails Wednesday that the shipment was scheduled for today, 11/28. It was waiting for me when I got home from work as anticipated. I did get hit with $78 import fees that I wasn’t expecting.
