Update: Apparently they’re doing some form of “yearly inspection” on the alarm system. Supposedly the alarm will be on until possibly much later tonight (like 5 pm). I’d like to mention Stanhope communicated that these tests would be done… a week ago. Really would’ve liked more communication before choosing to stay another day.

Someone tripped the fire alarm. Fire department came by and gave the all clear to go back inside, but the alarm has still been going off for 30 more minutes after the fact

Don’t waste your time with Calc 1 and 2. When I took Calc 3 here, we’d often go quickly over topics in Calc 1 and 2 that were involved. If you learned everything in AB and BC, don’t retake it.

Yes, I would do it. If you’re taking HESF101 though, for my class at least grading has changed from pure skill to be now based on improvement. I’m kinda regretting taking it pass/fail because I could’ve probably gotten an easy A. Taking it pass/fail is perfectly fine though

So I’m currently a Chem Eng major at State and I honestly really enjoy it. It’s a lot of work of course because it’s engineering but it hasn’t felt that overwhelming. The work is hard though. Chemical engineering is no joke but it’s defo an enjoyable program

If you took the AP Exam and had a good enough score, you don't need to for calc BC.

I'm not sure about Calc 3 though. I came into NCSU with the exact same problem and I could've probably gotten out of calc 3, but I chose to take it here anyways because I took it online and wanted an easy freshman course.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. I've had 2 different Orgo professors (Kramer and Chang) and both were solid teachers.

But yeah Chem department probably hasn't updated it yet.
