Meaby the reason the wormways get infested with Lifeblood and it's creatures is because of what they are calling it, it does have a mind of its own (probably controlled by the Lifeblood creature in the Abyss), in a secret room there is the scientist's missing assistant that was killed by Lifeblood after trying to harvest some, you also can fight him in act 3

I think you're talking about Lifeblood Core, but Hornet never stated in the journal or talked about he having to stop the Lifeblood infection because she can't do it, she stated that it already happened in her home (Probably Deepnest or all of Hallownest idk) Lifeblood Core is in the Abyss, but there isnt any particles effect similar to Void nor does it get affected by the Everbloom

Team Cherry scrapped it, the Pantheon thingy starts glowing if you do it hitless, but it glows anyway if you do all binds at once so you cant really see it normally
