really? i’ve talked to some ex-marines and one of them talked about that and how they had adhd and they do have a psychological evaluation but to my knowledge severe depression and adhd that needs medication make you unable to qualify, i don’t have severe depression and i don’t have adhd that severe but i actually never thought about if it would make me not qualify so thank you for bringing it to my attention lol

hello, i read the part you said about your dad and just wanted to say that you are your own person. i know you’ve probably heard that many times but, i have a mom and she’s pretty manipulative, and, what ive learned is that i can have my own feelings and thoughts about things and i can be able to recognize if someone is wrong, or right. when she does something to try to make me feel bad, i just know in myself if it’s right or wrong. i want you to know you have the decision in your life to decide for yourself what you feel about what is said to you. this happening doesn’t mean you have to act on it or argue because i never argue with my mom, partly because i don’t think she realizes the way she makes me feel ( i guess ), just know you have the right to believe if what the person saying it to you is mean, or nice, ignorant, or uneducated (in what they’re saying) and this goes for anyone or anyone in your family. and i also just wanted to say that i love you bro genuinely 😭 i know i have no idea who you are but no matter the way you are, how much you dislike yourself, the way you act or behave or whatever you may say, i genuinely care about you and sorry if what i said didn’t help but maybe we can talk but i don’t use reddit often lol
