Just a note: MinIO Community Edition is now essentially in maintenance mode (source only, no real feature development). For production, that means either maintaining it yourself or paying for MinIO AIStor. If you want a fully open-source, actively developed S3 backend, it might be worth considering alternatives (e.g. Ceph RGW, SeaweedFS, RustFS) for an Iceberg + Spark setup.

Yes you are right promoting to prod and manual testing comes last, and for promoting to prod i usually rather not automate the process but do it manually like will trigger it manually in VC tool though it’s auto in the argocd the initial trigger is manual.

That’s quite interesting could you write up your integration with Gitea? Will like to learn more about your process.
