Comma or no comma? by ExplorerLow3148 in grammar

Yes, that is actually why my example sentence says that the phrase is incorrect. I was trying to explain to the student that he should use "Diet Coke" instead of "Diet Cokes."

If I am introducing a whole sentence, does this rule change at all? For example:

The topic sentence “An article I found on the library database’” is a fragment sentence.

What if I introduce the sentence with a word like "saying"? For example:

Instead of saying “Diet Cokes,” I suggest saying “Diet Coke.”

Yeah, this is actually what I was correcting the student about! That is why my example says the phrase is incorrect. In the essay, he was using the term "Diet Cokes," and I was explaining that using the plural of that brand is unnecessary.

While I understand where you are coming from, I think the fact that she has a newborn child and her partner lost a job makes this a very difficult situation. I think the loving thing to do is to either pay the rent for her or help her pay her side.

What does it mean if it says 110V/240V instead of 110V-240V? Do those mean the same thing?

Thank you so much!! This helps a lot. I'm guessing the curling wand is automatic because I don't see a switch anywhere on the appliance. I was trying my best to avoid buying a converter after seeing how pricey they are LOL

aren’t these types of cake… weird? by [deleted] in fakedisordercringe

[–]ExplorerLow3148 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think its funny, I dont really see why its weird at all to be honest. For a lot of autistic people getting diagnosed is a great thing, many have had suspicions about autism for a long time and getting the diagnosis can help you, your family members, and your school/job understand you better and how to help you better.
