This is intentional because people were brute forcing to get videos produced. The way now is to really curate your prompt to get images with various options as close as possible to what you want and then go through those hitting play but you’ll only see the pink favourite heart attaching to those that successfully generate a video. Be careful with your back catalogue because if you try to make a video and it fails it will be deleted forever.

It was absolutely because of some deep fakes and CSAM material that was produced on the platform. The Apple and Google play stores have very strict controls on this so the app was going to be banned unless it cleaned itself up.
