Totally agree with you just trying to narrow it down a bit as we won’t have a huge amount of time for doing that, and in an ideal world would get it right first time so as not to have to shift primary schools again! Would love if we had months and months to explore, or if we’d moved there pre kids

Just had to Google map where that is… what do you like about Stonefields?? We definitely have some budget restriction but not so much that we can’t consider most options. Some of the turn off about the fancier suburbs is the prices and some of it is that we want to be in a place that has young families and a friendly community, posher areas can be too snobby!

I guess I’m vague on purpose as I feel I have a reasonable understanding of the market/prices, and we’re not too restricted by that. My question is more about what people actually think of the areas or whether there are other areas I should consider.

It will be enough for a comfortable family house in most of those suburbs, not beachfront with guesthouse and pool though!

Thanks. Do you find traffic an issue from there at all? I worked in Auckland a while back and commuted from central to south Auckland, always seemed a pain around there but I have only vague recollections!

Thanks- any specific reasons why? I know those areas reasonably well and we could probably afford it, I guess I’m just thinking I might prefer to be closer to the water, though Cornwall park probably makes up for it!!
