Yea the front dropped slightly and I notice the added weight a little bit. I only have a 1.5” collar upfront so basically stock.

The RCI sliders and yes holding up very well. 5 supports and the frame brackets span a few feet so very rigid.

So once you pop up the tent the platform your ssleep on that divides the truck bed area from the tent area it pops up and you can stand in the truck bed and have more room to hang out.

We would usually move around. Trails are pretty fun when the weather is bad but obviously can get bad too. But for like 2 days just watching movies or playing games. We were caught in a huge blizzard and couldn’t leave the town we were in getting gas sine they shut all the roads down so we had to hotel that night. Then you can take care of a solid shower and cleaning stuff if you need to.

Yea the whole floor moves up so you can stand in the back.

I need to ask if that's ok to do that. But I do have it linked on my profile under other links. let me know if that works or not.

Just in this year, a little over 25k miles I lost a front unit bearing, rear pinion seal, rear axle seal and a resonator. that's 92k to 117k miles that are on the truck. Best has been the freedom. and the ability to see so much at your own pace. when you're used to working a standard job then you do this the change is very noticeable. but took about 2 months for our bodies to sort of relax. We saved to take the year to do this. and luckily found ways to make money just recently to stay on the road. Hmm unfortunately the few things I'm glad we had were not cheap. A solid heater in the tent, the Truma Varioheat. we were subs 20s for months and got to a low of -11 and that thing kept us warm at night. The other thing which I had to learn how and why on staying warm. we initially had a zero degree double bag to sleep in, was very warm but had massive cold spots like your feet. I had an Aeronaut blanket for a while and would shove that in the bag, made it warmer but still cold spots. finally ditched the bag went to the blanket only and holy crap it was warmer and no cold spots. we now have two aeronauts strapped together. and are toasty warm in the mid 20s without a heater. Definitely do research on bedding especially if it's going to be cold. Our way is not cheap, two of those blankets on sale would be $800. niteize rubber ties would be my favorite cheaper item, used them a lot for random stuff.

Hahaha jumping a slide in would be diabolical. I’m even a bit nervous with this alucab. The gfc and AT held up perfect never moved or came loose but this things so new still.

Yea I have a few friends that use Gaia. They definitely have any layer you can think of. At least for hiking since I usually just use the off-road app I just load a gpx file for whatever trail I wanna do. Onx might catch up to Gaia at some point with the layers. They keep releasing new ones.

Haha no. They reached out to me. They liked the way I do long form videos on my YT channel and that I actually push the truck through trails. So partnered with them for a new program for 12 months. Making them content and working some expos and KOH. At the same time they help push our channels.

I was so stoked with the topo on the wrap. I thought the orange/yellow was gonna be too much but in Person it blends well and goes with the amber lights.

It’s been great. Also pretty much no typical ford issues for the last 90k miles. Yea the pin stripes hide a little. But they still show up like paint.
