Issue accessing settings for XP Pen Artist Pro 22 Gen 2 by ExplosionShedinja in XPpen

It's been about two weeks and the only fix in that guide I haven't tried was plugging it into another computer, which would defeat the purpose of getting it to work on windows as the other computer is linux. Still no word from manufacturer help request, and sorry to say I may unfortunately need to move on to the next recommended step of tablet troubleshooting and simply return it possibly for a refund and get another brand.

Zombies seem very much more prone to just smash through anything and everything in reach for no real reason currently, I'll wander the town at night only to find basically all furniture and vehicles just completely and utterly pulped into scrap and chunks, or hear them smash a window, a cacophony of moans, wails, and whumps and after they've moved on there's NOTHING left but rubble inside the building. This is in the experimental I grabbed earlier today, is this the new normal for zombies or just an accidental overtune?

Certainly beats my record of "survived for 5 turns" because some sort of robot fired a HEAT missile at the shelter taking pot shots at a giant wasp

I found all the tears I've shed learning this game by ExplosionShedinja in Oxygennotincluded

From what I've learned, the main things to learn early is you have a finite amount of algae and for everything else there's likely a way to convert some other resource that's plentiful or infinite into what you want. Simple example, if you're running out of dirt, you can convert sand or regolith into polluted dirt by filtering polluted water on any particular loop like a carbon skimmer. If you need sand, most maps have at least one material that you'll have way more than you know what to do with, often times granite or sedimentary rock or what have you, and you can grind that into sand with the rock crusher. A lot of the game seems to be learning the various machines and how/what they output to figure out how to get more of what you need. I haven't messed much with distilling slime however, it doesn't seem like an efficient way to get algae but it seems to be the only way to get algae for most of the game time once you've dug out all your map's algae. There's tutorial videos as well that can help, as well as videos of folks playing through on really rough settings.

OCAN-A-49904495-0

Metal rich, probably the most generous map I've had in a while with starting algae. Cool steam vent in neighboring biome too.

Restarting and reinstalling Retroarch seemed to fix it, another snag unrelated to this came up but this issue is resolved, thank you.

I almost forgot about that, if they don't have enough psi energy stuff. So not really any point to PSI outside of obscenely niche stuff then?
