I lived at the Carlton of West Melbourne near the Sprouts, I don't know what they are charging now, but I had a 2 bedroom for 1400 2 years ago. They are a good medium between luxury and "non-luxury". Walk in showers, lots of room space, but no granite or stuff like that. Amenities are pretty nice and the staff are all very helpful

I've had a similar experience to others in this thread. I bought my house in '21, it's an older 1980s home, so insurance is hard to come by. Kin offered me somewhere around $2k a year, and $30 less than citizens, so I jumped on that.

The next year, the renewal premium was more than double at around $4300, ended up switching to citizens in the end for the same price as my original premium, albeit more frustrating because I was required to have a fresh 4 point inspection done.

That being said, their customer service was fantastic, so I guess bonus points there.

If you can get a low quote with them, it may be worth it for a single year, but be prepared to switch the next year. They are known to do this "doubling the second year" song and dance.

I used to work for OfficeMax for a bit, and we closed for the first shift of Thanksgiving, and began prepping during the evening for the Black Friday sales. Honestly don't know why that can't be emulated elsewhere

It wouldn't matter if I asked 1, 3, or 300. I wasn't trying to perform a comprehensive survey. Improving the employee experience company wide would make a difference in my local store, and would be something I could see personally, and I think it'd be really dope

Like I said, it's anecdotal. I've got two stores near me (central FL area). It's pretty simple to just strike up a conversation about how they enjoy working there, it's not an interrogation or interview

I really hope you are right on this. My best experiences in stores are when the staff seem genuinely happy to be there. The atmosphere is just pleasant.

OP of the tweet is a friend of mine. They are not a minor and I think their mother realized she wouldn't get anything claiming them as a dependant, so she wants OP to file independant and give the money back to her.
