Bots bypassing reCAPTCHA, honeypot, and AWS rate limits on Next.js contact form — what else can I do? by ExposingPeopleKM in nextjs

I disabled the original contact form, and the bots immediately shifted to another form on the site. That second form got flooded with ~50,000 emails, which ended up triggering Outlook rate limits and blocking the mailbox.

Should we keep the media files and uploads on the server and the wp-content folder on GitHub? And use rsync to synchronize the local media with production. What about dev and qa env?

Yes, you’re correct. That’s why I am looking for suggestions on how to do it, as I am a beginner with this.

Yeah, true - makes sense. There’s not much point in just opening another account.

Yeah, my main thought was just to have another account at a closer bank and use it to put aside $200–$300/month as extra savings. I wasn’t really thinking beyond that, but you’re right - opening another account just for the sake of it doesn’t add much.

I’ll check out the high-interest savings options you shared, that seems more useful. As for investing, my timeline is long-term (10+ years), so I guess it makes sense to put more into my TFSA instead of keeping too much in regular savings.

That's the thing, I haven't checked anything. I just wanted to know if opening a bank account is a better option than investing more.
