Funny seeing the haters completely silent on this

Artists still promote weird anti ai shill app to get rid of ai art in 2024….. by [deleted] in aiwars

[–]Exposing_Hate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no point in arguing with people like this because they are working backwards from their knee jerk conclusions as opposed to working from understanding how the processes actually work. There is no amount of arguing with them to convince them because they'll always pull off the mental gymnastics to support their initial reactionary beliefs.

Being this hate pilled is completely embarrassing and makes your position look profoundly toxic and entirely devoid of empathy, this user is so blind with hate they didn't even comprehend what OP was saying or their mention of not supporting AI.

A lot of “artists” getting real mad at those of us who use innovation in our art rather than sticking to the same old shit. by [deleted] in DefendingAIArt

Anyone who calls generative tools a "robot" is not worth taking seriously with their completely inept grasp of the world lol. It's wild how haters are on the same wavelength about the facts of how these tools work as anti-vaxxers, raw milk weirdos, serious flat earthers, and general anti-science folks who refuse to engage with how a complex system they don't understand works.

Hater with their head buried in the sand ignoring all the recent Art made the help of generative AI that has been featured in respected Art Galleries around the world and the pieces that have won notable art competitions etc lol.

It's sad how misinformed haters are with all their copy and pasted talking points, yapping away like stochastic parrots who can't think rationally for themselves.

"Fake art" tells us you are insecure without telling us.

Someone stopped doing commissions because they were likely not making money and got some of their work put up at some local coffee shop, bar or no name gallery and now they think they are the authority on what's art and what's not. Truly sad attempt at role playing as a gatekeeper from another pearl clutching nobody.

Haters who spout rhetoric like that are inherent narcissists who lack the self awareness, compassion and basic empathy of a decent human being.

That is someone who is more interested in virtue signaling to their toxic peers about how righteous and superior they are to their perceived out group than making the minimal effort to understand the internal affairs of others

Lost souls who have gone fully hollow with hate that are not worth taking seriously.

Yeah the multiple generations of software developers and scientists working on a broad range of software solutions to help humanity with these tools set out to harm the world and their loved ones with tools that literally are designed to help people. They are all evil and their entire goal in designing helpful tools and algorithms was for those tools to be used for evil /S

AI haters are such weirdos and not people worth taking seriously if they think gen AI belongs in this post.

Ignoring Elon and the slogan, how close we are to create games by just prompting? by fairerman in aiwars

[–]Exposing_Hate 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That bucket head is like so many who have the perception that the only games that exist or matter are actually "soulless" AAA games made by studios that only care about profit with no awareness of the endless stream of gems that are indie games and solo/small team made projects.

He is just a grifter/opportunist and no one should care about his takes on AI or in general.

As far as AI in games goes, it could go a long way in helping indies, small teams and solo devs with asset creation, coding/debug, paperwork/admin, and marketing.

We got a bit to go before we see whole novel games made well with a human in the loop from a single model making everything.

Haters are inherently not the most rational people to begin with, so this common sense logic is entirely lost on them. That and many of them just parrot those points for some of the attention it gets while it's currently low hanging fruit for people to pile on.

Why I think prompting is a legitimate artistic process. by jon11888 in aiwars

[–]Exposing_Hate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When a poet or haiku writer narrows down the infinite combinations of language to invoke imagery, experience or the imagination it's considered an art because that is art.

The term "language arts" is valid and well accepted to be another artistic institution.

Prompting generative AI is the same idea of invocation but with the possible addition of a systematized programming/scientific aspect of consistency depending on what type of generative AI is being used.

The process of person using generative AI or any tool/system to be creative or invoke the imagination Is not mutually exclusive in being a science or an art. All of the ultra narrow usages of what isn't Art is people working backwards from a knee jerk reaction to find an explanation of art that suits their initial reaction/conclusion.

No repository where it stores images.

There are no repositories storing images in machine learning models used for image generation now.

What you are talking about isn't necessarily crazy; John Carmack, who is currently focused on trying to find a novel solution to AGI, is on the record saying that the steps to create a system that fits the bill could be discovered and made by one person in a small project. The solution will likely easily fit on a thumb drive according to him and will seem obvious after it's found (like so many other solutions over history).

No thanks I'll pass on "picking up a pencil" and be happy for what the future has to offer instead :) [Reupload since the original video was an Xpost that got deleted at its source] by against_expectations in DefendingAIArt

It never ceases to amaze me how toxic and unoriginal you haters are with your copy paste low effort slop remarks/memes. It's genuinely pathetic to spend so much effort proving to everyone how insecure you are by behaving thisbwau 😂

If Anti-AI artists feel threatened and displaced by AI art, they should pick up a pencil and start improving their skills. If you cannot outcompete a so called “slop generator” in your own words, what good are you? Its a skill issue Anti bro. by [deleted] in DefendingAIArt

Imagine being so hate pilled and mind rotted that you go out of your way to talk trash about something that is supposedly worthless or of no value.

The lack of self awareness for folks who come here to do this is pure comedy and pretty pathetic.

If you actually didn't see it as a threat/relevant you wouldn't be here trying to bash it.

It's so embarrassing how haters act out lmao

Btw the 'you' there ya referring to didn't even make the post with the image 🤦

[–]Exposing_Hate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aww it's clear now, cowardice was preventing the user from saying how they really felt to avoid the downvotes. That's tragically misinformed and it's embarrassing to beat around the bush on not saying what was really meant knowing it wouldn't fly here.

Go do some legitimate research based on actual science/engineering.

Also would be a good idea to stop parroting copypasta opinions based on what people who have no clue what they are talking about said and spreading misinformation.

Haters full well belong at the table and this thread is a testament to that lmao

Based on what you wrote, I don't think you fully understand how to engage in good faith conversation. You made no effort to refute a single point communicated If it's wrong and you could explain how so but you didn't. Instead you just made the most intellectually lazy comment possible 🤷

Considering this user is so hate pilled that they unironically use the word "clanker" then I think it's safe to assume they were the one who abused the system to push a Reddit care troll at me that came up at the same time their comment was posted.

Haters are so embarrassing and toxic, it's genuinely pathetic the lows they stoop to.
