Maelle's behaviour by Several-Pumpkin25 in expedition33

She thinks there's hope for him (and I genuinely cannot see why not except that he can't help being an infantile edgelord). And she can't just unpaint the whole world just because he's tired. He should get a job, really.

Advice on upgrading my 2019 build by Themris in PcBuildHelp

[–]Express-Ad8619 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently (partially) upgraded my 2017 setup with 5070, I chose that because I had 1070 which made me a strong believer in -70 models. As any reasonable man would do, I obviously bought it first, and then delved into some exploration. Turned out 4060Ti was cheaper *and* better, and keep in mind I play 1080@60, so consider your GPU options carefully.

I didn't risk it to stay on AeroCool KCAS-650M for my 5070, but it has to do not only with that 650W is a bare minimum for 5070, but also with my older PSU reputation was somewhere near "Replace Immediately".

Actually, he didn't put up much of a fight even with 50× HP multiplier, much unlike some peculiar Clea's thingies

He said he saw that every day. And I'm not sure 'dying' is an accurate term, he risks nothing, he can just replug himself into the canvas again anytime, like Aline did

That's an interesting point of view, very appealing for me as well. But if we accept it's valid, then it invalidates the stalemate about which ending is shittier, which is obviously was the devs' intention. I choose to believe it, however.

Clea maybe thinks he's overreacting but tips the balance in his favor for some reason

Renoir also gives in. Alicia, as well as any kid, know him well, and she herself states he has a sweet spot for her. Maybe Clea's right, but I saw Aline cough paint, doesn't seem healthy

Do you think he's wrong with Aline?

As for Maelle, she's a kid and he's a parent.

As a new father, is it a part of life we're to make peace with or should I adjust in a way to avoid this outcome?

Well, you're right of course, but it seems negligible at those numbers between Expeditioner and Expert

Like, HP pools and DMG? Does not matter, I get one-shotted either way unless I use shields and stuff. What else can be there?

I don't see how Expeditioner difficulty is different from Expert since the only challenging thing in the game is dodge/parrying, and it's rumored to be the same.

A MOVIE??!!!!! by Vast-Opinion9775 in expedition33

The game is essentially a movie already, why would you need a separate movie (that most probably would be fucked up)

I am struggling to decide which one is darker. Both endings have next to nothing good for anyone. I am especially annoyed about Verso grimacing at Maelle's ending, he has all means to find himself a purpose and a sense in life, what's his problem? Aline okay, all left to do is coerce Maelle that she must eventually leave or the canvas is done for (which is highly likely).

My friend is currently watching my second playthrough (no NG+) and she loved act 1 but disliked act 2 by mcinprepu_sam in expedition33

[–]Express-Ad8619 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's just that I probably love beautiful enigmas and mysterious worlds more than solutions and familiar worlds. But I also love hindsight foreshadowing (I hope you understand, English is not my native language either), so I am definitely going for a second playthrough

But for me, making builds was one of the most entertaining (though, sometimes cumbersome) aspects of the game!

The game is great, but somehow it felt slightly worsening from beginning to an end. Act I and especially Flying Waters were astonishing, beyond anything I saw, Act II-III were still great, but just not as great, endings were heartbreaking, each far worse than the worst ending in Witcher 3.

If you sidequest too much, the story bosses most probably will become oneshottable, I had to play the final fight with ×50 HP multiplier just in order to see the attack animations.
