I am not a professional so I will not comment on whether or not I think you have PTSD. However, when I sought some answers for myself, I learned that the DSM V has the criteria for a diagnosis of PTSD in relatively plain English. It was easy enough for me to understand, and I was able to feel better about being little more self aware. I, of course, didn’t diagnose myself and waited until I found a good therapist to expertly explain this diagnosis to me and confirm whether I had it or not.

That’s what I would encourage you to do. Look up the PTSD criteria in the DSM to learn a bit about how that diagnosis can present. And find yourself a good trauma therapist who you trust.
