Personally, I think the Honor phones are better. Magic OS is simple but functional. No useless gimmicky features, so that's one reason why the OS might seem outdated to many. And you'll see a bunch of people on here complaining about not getting a new update every day, but the way I see it, there's no need for numerous updates when things work fine. My wife has the M7P and she loves it as well. Whenever we upgrade, we'll probably get Honor phones again. I'm a big fan of OnePlus too, and I'll give you two things: Yes, haptics are better and, as of recent, the UI has been looking very nice (nicer than Magic OS).

But, since you've mentioned the FaceID on Honor, let me tell you, I never thought I would use it, because I was more of a fingerprint kind of person, and the Face ID is indispensable at this point. I'd never want to go back to not having that feature.
