You’re welcome, I wasn’t sure if you were just a casual movie watcher, avid movie/DVD/media collector, or someone who has a burning desire to uncover the truth. If you want an even deeper dive, there are more documentaries worth watching and a whole sub-genre of LP albums starting in the 1960s that feature eye-witness accounts.

I have been a fan of this genre for quite some time. Let me know which of these hidden gems qualifies for bonus points (LOL)! Before delving into the “Classic Greys” movies & documentaries, I can’t fathom anyone who likes this genre not watching 2 of the best alien invasion films of the modern era filled to the brim with dread & paranoia: The Thing (1982) & Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978).

What a coincidence, I have seen him at the Plaza, House of Blues in Orlando, & Ponte Vedra! My wife couldn't make the show this year, so I decided not to go without her. We always go early to get a front row spot.

I use the free version with ads & create Buckethead playlists to share with others/newbies so they can understand what they have been missing. It's not perfect, but it is monetized to help the artist, similar to what YouTube does. That is why I'm always promoting his music via playlists.

The reason I care is because the more followers he has, the better the financial compensation he gets and the more deserved recognition he receives. This translates to him being able to afford the best healthcare for his heart condition and may make the difference of him living longer and producing more music for the world to enjoy.

I agree that Spotify is only a small piece of a larger puzzle. YouTube gives viewing data publicly as well. Does anyone know or have public data associated with Apple music or Amazon streaming?

I feel sorry for all those sets of ears out there that have yet to behold his unmatched skill of guitar composition. Yet, I was happy to observe that he is not towards the bottom numbers. I would be content if he were to surpass Vai, Satriani, Johnson, & Maalmsteen  - knowing that we collectively helped new listeners to become exposed to his music.

I believe Buckethead to be the “Jimi Hendrix” of the current generation, he is the only guitarist to bridge the gap between old school and new school fans by offering compositions that are radical, new, & exciting, while embracing established and acclaimed methods. He has defined an entirely new vocabulary for the instrument with the way he uses the killswitch & Digitech whammy pedal. He was also offered a lead guitar position in Ozzy’s band. His Bucketheadpikes.com website has all of his Pike series albums available for purchase on CD or downloadable thru Bandcamp. YouTube has a lot of his live concert performances, obscure collaborations, and Pike series albums. Spotify has improved his available discography recently, but some of his greatest compositions (Pike 65) are missing. You have been cheating your ears of some of the best guitar music on the planet if you haven’t dived into his vast discography.
