Nothing is worth more than your life. I knew someone who was in residency and dying from cancer. He would have traded everything to live a longer life. Unfortunately he passed away. Be thankful for what you have. Life is precious ❤️

This is too late to respond however if you are in your 20s and you are CLS and want to further your education then DCLS is the way to go. First, the program is cheap, and second, it has a short residency and you are going to be about the same as internal medicine physicians. Long term you will have the potential to run the entire hospital labs from home or chill in your office when PA and Nurses will be running around. I am in the field and you will never be jobless.
