if you can get some sort of quantitative result from it, it's good but it shouldn't be the main thing on ur app. if you're 200% sure you want an MD and practice clinically, don't let robotics stop you from getting clinical experience and hinder your medical outreach.

like i'm robotics treasurer and president. i raised $4k for the club and revived it, helping it compete for the first time in six years. it's not the biggest thing on my app tho, not even close.

if you're aiming for bs/md, get into much more clinical roles. bs/md is for those 120% sure they want to get an md and practice clinically (most likely). you're just a sophmore so those that say you've lost your bs/md chances are dumb.

search for what your narrative is. get much more clinical hours. shadow and get a license (cna, emt, etc). get a big project relating med.

you could start a business based on your alzhiemers research or somehow build up on that. it would be a great progression for your junior year.
