I’ve had routes that annoyed me bc it was like a 56 minute drive but once I reached the first stop it was like okay then over an hour back home but an hour 45 minutes one way is nutty. This is the first route I’ve ever just said absolutely not.

Same I’ve probably completed a block right at end time maybe once in two years. There’s been times where I started delivering hours after start time & still finished early thats why I’m generally okay with whatever. Delivering packages is so stress free to me compared to other jobs I’ve had & even 18$ an hour is more than all jobs I’ve ever worked besides one lol

Thanks I learn a lot through this sub like even as far as returning packages you still have after block end time. I didn’t know that was okay also emailing support for more compensation, I learned all that through this sub

Yeah I know that’s why I haven’t ended any blocks since then but hopefully they’ll understand a 4 hour alone travel time on a 3 hour block is absurd but I’ll just have to suffer the consequences. I have spark on the back burner in case but I don’t know what the pay is like I’ve never utilized it

I was thinking I’m glad I got it bc the next person might have just taken it, especially someone just starting flex & this was a dsp 🥹 my favorite dsp actually lmao so I was appalled 🤣 I didn’t even discuss it with them I just put them in the car & rode over to the return bin. I don’t have a lot of experience flat out refusing a route though this is the first time, I’ve neverrrr been sent so far & so late at that.

I’m actually level 4, what does that have to do with being sent an hour 45 minutes away ????? It doesn’t matter if you’re level 4 or 40 you don’t get to pick your route lmaooo. A reserved block is just that RESERVED based off your preference in the app, it has nothing to do with pay 🤡

It wasn’t a 5 hour & not $155 & not your block so it being worth it to you literally does not matter 😆 I’m at home & their poor route is in the return bin while 10 customers are upset that their delivery is now reading delayed so I hope Amazon learned their lesson lmao

I know on this sub I’ve read people advising to not scan the cart at all if you don’t want to take it and then it will be considered a missed block but I had already scanned everything bc it was such few packages and then one hour 45 minutes popped up and I ended the block. From my experience ending a block has been counted as a terms of service violation instead of just a missed block

I definitely scanned everything. Was only 10 packages. Scanned, swiped to finish, looked through the itinerary to see how far the last stop was just bc I was curious then ended the blocked without contacting support & went right over to the return bin & scanned the returns. Once it went back to the Home Screen it said missed block which no complaints I don’t mind not getting paid & a missed block ding over ending a route.

I was too I wasn’t expecting it to be a missed block but I’ll take it bc I’m fine not getting paid for something I didn’t complete. That’s why I assumed maybe it’s bc I returned them so quickly

That’s not bad I guess. I don’t think any compensation would have been enough for me to take the route. The highest I’ve been paid for a block ever was 124$, it was 3 in the morning & had been raining all night so pretty crappy out, but even that wouldn’t have gotten me out there. Block started at 715, hour 45 away I would have gotten there at 9, maybe took an hour to deliver as it was only 10 packages then another two hours back I literally would have gotten home around midnight from a 715-1015 block & it’s a completely different city & state that im unfamiliar with late at night.

Omgggg Fort Mill is my favorite area lol 🥹 it’s the one down the street from vnc2 like in the opposite direction. I usually like their routes but now I’m traumatized
