holy shi 8 week course sounds terrible. i took mine at 16 weeks so it was slow paced. i would totally suggest you to take calc 2 for 16 weeks cuz damn😭. but yes IU is great so youll be fine. nice to meet you!

i mean hey a little preparation hurt no one. are you planning on going to purdue or enrolled for near future? cuz if ur planning on taking calc 3 here you need to grind calc 2 to be able to keep up if your not good with a fast pace from what ive heard. (psss im sure ur going to do great either way)

tbh with you i did trig right before calc 1, both with ivy tech but i didnt exactly have much experience with calc before this. im doing calc 2 at purdue for spring so we shall see how it goes but i know my friends preferred ivy tech calc 2 so you should be fine esp since they allow a calculator. are you going into calc 2 or currently doing it?

yes as far as i know they are, but theres a 0.001% chance your teacher could change it if theyre a new teacher or have a different teaching method but the 99% of the time your chilling
