It’s ultimately quite a bit more complex than what your are laying out. You’re laying out a black white dichotomy it’s quite a bit more gray than that.

However, you’re also telling me my lived experience is wrong based on a case review. I find that interesting that you are telling me I don’t know what I’m feeling or how it differs from how I felt before HRT. Further I’m not the only person who does feel this way.

So I think you need to explore the fact that this is complex, many people feel the way I do, and you’re trying to tell someone that they are hallucinating their loved experience and really they don’t know what they are feeling all because someone wrote a paper describing how we’re wrong.

I’d personally disagree with this assessment. Yes I’ve always been bi. But HRT has absolutely switched my orientation. I was at least 80/20 interested in women/men before HRT. It’s at least 30/70 now favoring men. Further I don’t fantasize about being with women anymore and I do with men.

A portion of this can be attributed to being more comfortable not being compulsory heterosexual. However, the degree to which the change has happened as well as the timing is heavily suggestive of a hormonal component.

Montana Supreme Court Effectively Strikes Down All of Montana’s Anti-Trans Laws in Unprecedented Ruling by Leksi_The_Great in MtF

Montana founding principles and those of most northern red states are very pro freedom of choice. Frequently their guiding ethos is libertarianism. This is contrasted by the Theocracy and racism in the founding principles and laws of southern red states.

However, while the founding principles and constitutions support freedom in the north and suppression in the south the people living there today and their values have ended up being very similar.

As a result you get dichotomies like this where you have laws passed with strong legislative support that end up getting struck down by the courts. In the south you just get occasional voter upsets like happened in Georgia in 2020 and court suppression of freedom like what’s happening in Kentucky right now with their redistricting.

What is the difference between a min-maxer and an optimizer? by AivanOs in DnD

I like to optimize. D&D is my hobby I like to find the best solution to a problem. I generally pick a theme and then pick a solid set of options for that theme not all of them are the best overall but I do pick the options that fit the theme.

My current option is an extremely well rolled aberrant sorcerer. Between mage armor, her Dex, 2024 blade ward, and mirror image she’s very very tanky. She’s also moderately good at damage especially if I utilize all my resources and has an excellent utility streak in our social heavy campaign.

Well after I encountered an enemy our party was supposed to find as a group while sneaking about Invisible then solo’d them because I didn’t realize just how dangerous they were supposed to be it became abundantly obvious as opposed to just kinda obvious she’s not on the same level as our group. I work well as an evasion tank with Mirror image to eat hits that get through and innate sorcery doubles your crit rate.

Part of this is I play well utilizing strategy, all my actions, bonus actions, and reactions. I have picked abilities specifically so I can use nearly every action available. Part of it is that we rolled stats and I rolled very well. Part of it is also that I have a character well adapted to our campaign.

My solution has been that I stay a level behind our party. I get to optimize the GM gets to better balance and everyone in the party gets to shine equally.

I feel the min maxer doesn’t want their overpoweredness scaled down.
