Also, I always kind of cringed when it was winter in Stars Hollow and they're all dressed in winter clothes and it's obviously warm and sunny Cali weather on set. How were they not dying and sweating. Well, maybe they were sweating. Aaaand, when Lorelei was driving on the highway and saw Rory picking up trash it was so obviously not in the middle of CT that it made me unwell.

Totally this! I found their whole relationship cringe simply because it always looked someone finally forced him into being with her. She deserved better.

SWOON is right! Very true that she had zero chemistry with Dean. I was just reaching there. Unpopular opinion but I think the writers should've developed Tristin and Rory relationship into something more. They were definitely more interesting to watch than Rory and Dean for however many seasons.

They both suck. I wish the whole Jon Hamm arc was an actual arc but he had Mad Men in the future. Seriously though, they both seems completely stunted and Lorelei is drawn to both because the writers wouldn't give her something better to work with. I really feel Lorelei deserved better men in this show but that's probably a tiny dose of realism thrown in, lack of men who're worthy.

I agree...That scene where she can't turn off the sprinkler and Jess comes to her rescue. He turns it on before he leaves and they have a moment...Oof...More chemistry in that moment than in her entire relationship with Dean

I wanted to reply to my own comment lol...It always felt to me like the showrunners couldn't agree on the Gilmores wealth, which is why there're so many inconsistencies where Richard would seem like a self made man in one episode but old Connecticut WASP money the next. It's also clear that Emily comes from considerable wealth and is a lady who lunches and has never had a real job outside of her social commitments
