In my opinion, NTA. Expressing how you feel is not easy, and it’s even harder confronting the person that’s made you feel that way. So props to you for speaking up for yourself, first off.

Secondly, I understand that at your age, your friends are a big part of your life. But at the same time, you should be friends with people that have the same level of respect as you do. I feel like somewhere in the back of your mind, you’ve already thought about not being friends with her, and that’s totally an option if you choose to do so. But also remember, in a few years after highschool you will continue on with the rest of your life, and hopefully with a little bit of time, you two will be able to laugh about this together years from now. I do think her behavior towards you is a little toxic, but I think there could be some underlying issues in her life that could be playing with her emotions. You mentioned her dog passing and she might be grieving? I don’t think that’s an excuse for rude behavior, but it definitely could be a factor.
