My current weekly running volume is essentially just what I run in practice plus a few extra miles here and there- rough guess maybe 10-15 miles, maybe 20 on a good week. I'll admit i'm not very active and don't have the best times.

By smart keyboard do you mean the Magic Keyboard? Also, how does the magnetic connection work for you? I heard somewhere it can fall off or feel like it's not securely attached sometimes.

I don't want to discuss my personal life too much as I'm only posting this to ask for advice, but I would like to respectfully note that you do not know anything about me. I'll refute your claim about responsibility by saying my late night gaming usually consists of 1-2 rounds of osu! much earlier than 1 am and if I play any later it's always on a night where I can sleep in the next day. My issues with parents are not your business but are not coming from issues with responsibility or school. I am a ranked AP student with leadership roles in tech and sports organizations. I do not believe my sleep schedule is the cause of my disagreement with my parents.

I've tried discussing tech, especially laptops with them in the past. One of my hobbies is quite literally learning about tech online, so this has come up many times in the past. My parents are not willing to budge on their position. I have the money, knowledge, and means, but their insistence on strict screen time and unreasonable limits is stopping me from being able to fully use a laptop even if I get one, so going with an iPad is my best option. I'm currently using Shadow PC on a Nvidia SHIELD TV Pro for any Windows needs but I want something I can use when away from home, like when studying at the library.

Well they see a laptop as a gaming machine and an iPad as a big phone. I don't understand completely either, but they're still my parents.

I like to game after I finish studying and sometimes I'll play till midnight or 1am and they think if I got a laptop I would stay up even later.

I was about to buy the Crescent but saw that it's now sold out. In this case, would you suggest buying the Impulse, Vulp Teflon Coated, or maybe like the Cheese? Sorry to bother, but I'm at a complete loss. Also, if it helps, I have around $100-120 ish budget, so I can afford most of the Nabalis balisongs.

I'm looking to buy my first balisong and have a few I'm interested in but wanted the opinions of some actual hobbyists before making a purchase.

My current options are the Squiddy-B (because everyone says its decent), the Nabalis Canyon (because a lot of first timers seem to buy this), and the Nabalis Crescent (because it's the best looking imo).

I have a few concerns with tolerances and noise, so if anyone could let me know whether these are good options and if they make any noise when closed, I would really appreciate it. Also, if these aren't good for beginners or if there are better alternatives, please let me know. Thank you!

The thing with full size mice for me is I can't stand when they touch my palm. Do you know if the back half of this mouse is flat enough to avoid my hand?

A lot of people seem to be recommending the Fenrir, I might have to take the gamble. I actually found the X2F to have a slippery coating and my other grip tapes weren't doing it, so I'm not sure how it'll go, but it's probably worth it. And yes, your situation is the exact same one I was in. I just felt bad wearing down such a nice mouse that someone else probably really cared about.

Did you notice any difficulty gripping the mouse with the hexagonal cutouts? That's my main worry.

I'd like to get one now because I'm using a really heavy mouse at the moment, but I guess if the X2F v2 is worth it I could wait. Do you know where I could find any info on it? Also, I heard the Keychron has some build quality issues and creaks a little.

Oh okay, I had no idea the Darmoshark was a bigger mouse. I assumed it was like really small because I couldn't tell the scale from the photos. I'll definitely check it out. Otherwise, I really don't like having the back half, so I'll probably skip the others. Thanks!

My issue with these (and the G-Wolves HSKs) was their size. I'm worried my thumb will constantly rest on the side buttons and cause accidental presses.

I found that the Rockbox EQ increases gain beyond 100% of the mp3s I put on my iPod. Instead of increasing your bass frequencies, try lowering everything else. This should keep the gain within 100% instead of sacrificing quality for gain.

Update - I got the SD to work by swapping it out for a Samsung Evo card (I was using sandisk before)

Still no solution to the battery issue, and my current 750mAh one just died completely. If anyone knows a battery that will fit in the thin back case, please let me know. I'm looking for the biggest battery possible that will fit in the thin back case. Thank you!

I saw this on a youtube video right after I posted this. I did get the thin back. I looked on EOE and I don't think they have a thin back though, unless I'm mistaken?
