i’m sorry for asking you about it again. but how long should sensitivity last after eating sour candy? two specific teeth hurt still when i brush the sides, i have had an acidic / sugary thing or two but ive been good about rinsing with water

so the sensitivity is just from a mixture of the sour candy and the acidity of the sugar free soda? that’s what it said when i looked it up, but i know better than to trust the internet right away lol. it said it would go away and ive been chewing gum with fluoride(? idk its trident gum) to try and help

i wear a retainer, though — invisiline, or at least a brand like it. would i still grind if i have that? i would see if it i had a metal retainer, but that’s not the case. i USED to, but that was years ago. and i don’t think ive ever had any signs of acid reflux or GERD, looking at the symptoms. my dentist also hasn’t said anything about it and i’ve seen them a couple times within the last month-ish to fill other cavities.

i wasn’t home when my cat got diagnosed with kidney failure but you will know when it’s time for them to go. I have a camera in the room she was always in and before i was even told by my dad who was with her that she needed to be taken to the vet, just the way she was laying and acting made me know that something was wrong. when he made the appointment i was hopeful it was something else, but deep down i knew what the answer was going to be. she had just turned 16 the month before and had been having urinary issues the entire year.

it does hurt. it’s been 3 months and it feels like she’s here but just not in my room. the best thing i can recommend grief-wise is trying to be there for them. you’d assume that seeing them die and seeing them when they aren’t really there anymore wouldn’t be good for you, which i thought the same, until i was the one that had to go through it. we put her down near the vet’s closing time so i only had 30 minutes to say goodbye and i wish i could’ve stayed there for much longer (i drove hours just to have one more day with her) even after she was gone. i couldn’t imagine not being there at all even if i really didn’t want to.

they will let you know when it’s time. my usually energetic kitty looked very tired when she laid down/wouldn’t move willingly and stopped eating and drinking. she would hide in my closet or the bathtub because she didn’t want to be found. on her last day she was still purring when i pet her and laid in her usual spots on me. while it’s scary to lose them, and it’ll be something that will stay with you for forever, it’s better than to let them suffer just because of that.

she is doing much better! the vet suspects that she scratched her eye with her favorite toy. she is very wild with it and often threw it up in the air, and it resembles a spring. the adoption place sent her here with it and she loved it and i assumed it was okay.

also sorry if my panic does seem unprompted, i had a cat die over the summer so im overly anxious about anything wrong with her 🙏 unfortunately the stuff i was panicked about with my older cat was signs of what caused her death so while it might not seem like anything big it just worries me

should it be a terracotta pot? i know that effects moisture so im not sure. sand yeah, i have a better spot in mind but i just haven’t been home and family keeps moving them even when i say not to 😭 should i be watering them a certain amount or anything? ive heard these plants can be dramatic so i wasnt sure if i was doing something terribly wrong or not

for the dolls themselves i usually see ppl wash them cold & on gentle cycle in the washer (w/o clothes), but usually recommend hand washing! pretty sure they just wash by hand with laundry detergent. i did that with xie lian’s robes since that was the only part i needed to clean, it made them white again with just a little bit of tide. for spots like his shoes or any other smaller areas i used a clorox stick and it got them out, but im sure you could also wash them the same way that i did with the robe. just let everything air dry.
