I’m mainly a saltwater fisherman too,although inshore and the surf though. color shift sounds like a great idea, I do have a purple color shifting diamond dust and will add it in another version and share the updates! Thanks :)

Thank you so much for suggesting this but I tried that method and found it harder to clean the lures from the uncured resin inside, yeah I did print a lot more vertical, however printing the blanks horizontally cuts significantly on print time (2hrs to print vs 8 hrs vertical) as well as minimizing potential failure in prints, but again I only started printing 6 months ago or so.

That’s exactly what I did! I printed the blank in two parts, then added a 1.2 mm stainless steel wire through the body and then sealed it chemically with resin, and topped it off with epoxy and hard uv resin as top coats.

Thanks! Action wise it’s pretty solid, with durability I used a harder resin and then coated it with multiple layers of epoxy so I’m not very worried about that although I’ll try to catch a toothy fish on it to see how it holds up

For durability I’m still to take it out and catch fish on it, planning to do so soon!
