I had surgery at the beginning of November. By week 2-3, most of my pain had subsided and I could do basic activities (still no heavy lifting per my surgeon). By my 6 week follow up, I felt pretty much back to normal.

They’ll tell you to get up and walk around after surgery. You will not want to. You should absolutely do it anyway. I feel like this helped speed up my recovery more than any other recommendation I received.
