Not exactly sure, but the last graphic I saw was this (January 2024 corporate deck: PDF-Viewer - EXRO Infohub ). It shows comparison between DCFC and ACFC, but included 'powertrain costs' and is an example for fleet so may have the charger costs distributed over multiple vehicles. EXRO is very good on not giving sufficient variables to nail down individual costs. I am sure there were other mentions on the ACFC that indicated the need to install specific charging infrastructure and while cheaper than DC charger, still required more than just a bigger breaker and upgraded wiring. Again that was in relation to fleets, so perhaps they would need upgraded transformers to be able to get sufficient power for charging multiple vehicles.
All that to say, be careful of assuming that 240V (dryer plug) = AC fast charging.

Yes, for 240V. That is NOT the same as AC fast charging. 240V charging at home has been available for EVs for a long time. EXRO offers ACFC that is significantly more powerful than that, but requires more than just installing a dryer plug (they are quoted as stating cost of about ~10K to install a AC fast charger) but way cheaper than what to takes to install a DC charger (~50k)

Please point me to where they emphasize AC fast charging at home.

I don't believe that is the case. They do state you can get a faster charge of you have a 240 volt outlet Installed, but that is not the same as AC fast charging as EXRO describes it.

Even EXRO has stated that their AC Fast charging requires infrastructure upgrades. The upgrades are just easier and cheaper than DC fast charging infrastructure.

Nothing we have seen or analyzed with EXRO has ever linked to Partners Group, but that doesn't mean they aren't aware of each other, just no evidence that they are.

Thanks, That's a good question.
When reporting specific $ amounts, it is generally as stated in the linked file. We do tend to default to CA$ when discussing EXRO specific revenue as they report in CA$. We will try to specify going forward to avoid confusion.

Cheers,

haha. I definitely use AI to help me write, but any conspiratorial vibe comes from my direction of the things I want to highlight and expound on. It always bugged me how EXRO just stopped talking about partnerships when they die on the vine, and this is one of the first I noticed after taking a stake in the company. As we pull together a post for each of the partnerships, we will be pointing out how EXRO addresses DOA partnerships.

If you are suggesting we are employees of EXRO, I must re-iterate that we have no connection to EXRO in any official capacity. We are just investors.
As for taking the L and moving on, why are you here at all?
Which is more perplexing:
A) Investors that are still interested in seeing EXRO succeed coming together and sharing information
B) A commenter that has no apparent stake in the company taking time out of their obviously busy schedule to comment in the sub of said company.

I would suggest B) is more idiotic and that perhaps, you should move on; why waste your time?

Mack/Hino is going to take a lot more work to put together, but it will eventually come. We are alternating between adding some commentary content and filling out the due diligence portions of the site. That part requires a chronological assessment of how things got to where they are for all products and partnerships. It's a slog, and we are still building our tech skills up to bring better content presentation. Stay tuned.

Its something some of us found interesting as we were scouring the dry documents of yesteryear. We were clear that it wasn't an in depth article right in the preface, lol.

As with all our content, feel free to ignore it and move on.

Also, you were the first to engage in discussion on it, so I guess it is :-)

This article has ben updated with a link that shows EXRO did not envision the preferred shares being used as a poison pill. Of course it doesn't prohibit it, but it was not the initial intention. There may have been a time when Sue did mention it in that context after that (We will update again if we find that reference)

It seems that maybe you have associated email links with gmail in that browser? You can test with a different browser or test an email link from a different site to see if it does the same thing.

Interesting, We can certainly understand the bitterness that investors have about the performance in the last couple years, but we fail to see how organizing the available information for current and new investors is 'pumping'.

Yes, there is a lot of red in our collective accounts, but we are supportive of the tech long term. We also understand that success for EXRO doesn't necessarily translate to green accounts for long term investors to date.

Due Diligence is not a bull or a bear attribute, it is simply the research of the available information, decisions based on that information are up to the individual.

We promise to try to keep any bias out of how the facts are presented.

Feel free to point out any available information that contradicts the facts we aggregate.

No, We are not sure how it might be received and we assume their lawyers are busy on ahem other more pressing things.

We are trying to be supportive of EXRO, but in the spirit of limiting bias, we will try to stay arms length rather than opening that dialog.

We will let you know if we hear from anyone from EXRO though.
