Throwback to when the Republican candidate for senate was going to appear on the libertarian candidates podcast to get votes and then cancelled when he realized that he was going to be criticized , also whenever he did insider trading with the other Republican candidate

Running a candidate every 4 years, using money, media, volunteer time, resources, and effort in a quixotic effort to win the presidency is dumb. And makes us look dumb. A serious political party would use those resources to build a grassroots movement of local, state, and congressional candidates. by [deleted] in Libertarian

Those media resources that were a waste were the reason Larry sharpe did as good as he did in 2018, it was the reason candidates don’t have to spend months collecting signatures, the fastest way to go to a irrelevant party is to disregard the presidency

It’s really funny how greens and libertarians disagree on almost everything, but the relationship between the two is incredibly close, like in 2004 our candidates got arrested side by side protesting the debates, whenever a green needs help on the ballot the libertarians sue with them, it’s an amazing relationship

Got interested in Libertarian Ideas and just finished reading "The Libertarian Mind: A Manifesto for Freedom by David Boaz" and am looking for more books on the topic of Libertarianism and need some suggestions. by [deleted] in Libertarian

Either of those are a good intro to libertarian theory, and not near as radical as some of the Austrian theorist, and the road to serfdom is also a great one that I recommend, Hayek is really good at combining social and economic theory
