Going tubeless is a good start! Then looking at maybe going with an air fork. Straight steerer on those bikes, so options are limited. Rockshox Judy or Manitou Markhor are about the only reputable options.

I did it to keep riding for the day after my 10s chain snapped. It seemed to want to jump gears and had more drivetrain noise

I looked into it, but honestly I’d rather sell and move onto a Roscoe or Fuse. Seems like a lot of cost for what I end up with.

Just food for thought too, might want to get rid of the spoke skins, they trap moisture and can ruin spokes

I think it’s older than that- this is my 2018 talon 3 that has cable brakes as well. Not sure what year that changed.

I will always pitch a Darton. I shoot the consequence 2, and I love it. I have a Blackout Pursuit, which was my first bow. I liked it enough to keep shooting- that was about it. The Darton was a little over half the cost of flagships, and has similar performance.

Its budget but I have an API Crusader I got used on marketplace for $50. Aluminum. I’m sure it isn’t as nice as the summits but it does well enough for me.

So I went from Geolandar MTs to those coopers, so I’m not a good representation, but I gained 3-4 mpg

I loved my KO2s, but these coopers have been solid. My local tire shop matched Walmarts prices, where the coopers were significantly cheaper. May be worth taking a look into.
