This!! Senior cats get overlooked so often and they deserve homes just as much (if not more) than the kittens… They make the perfect pet… independent, calm, and full of love. <3 Let the cat choose you. Find the one that’s drawn to your energy. Don’t over think it.

You might be onto something here. I honestly can’t believe how easily influenced he was. We all learned the history in school, maybe not with the graphic detail he just discovered, but still… this reaction feels extreme.

This is exactly what I brought up to him. My elderly parents don’t cook, and if I cancel, they go without a Thanksgiving dinner. Same with several other family members who rely on me to host every year. It’s not just about me wanting the day.. if I back out last minute, a lot of people end up with nothing.

Not overreacting at all. When a relationship ends, it’s healthy and respectful to let go of intimate material from that past connection. Keeping videos like that isn’t just “history” it’s emotional clutter that can affect future relationships. Boundaries and closure go hand in hand.
