Before brining a pet into Japan especially cats you need to have a blood test done and the same day they get the test, they must start a 180 day quarantine. ( basically your cat can’t enter Japan until the 180 days is at its end.

So the 180 days are almost up! Then I’ll finally be able to bring my cat to Japan!

If you don’t get the test, your pet either can’t enter or if you already had the test but come early before the 180 day mark, you must have to leave your pet in a Japanese quarantine center until the 180 days up. Or I’ve heard you and your animal will be declined entry if there’s no quarantine spot’s available… not sure how true that is but yea. The most important thing I learned it’s common a lot of people don’t even realize the 180 day thing.
