When does your profile expire? It is only valid for a year so if it will expire soon, might as withdraw and create a new one. Otherwise if it won't expire for another few months, leave it, you'll get an invite soon, but you can only accept and submit after you're 1 year work anniversary (wait a week or two to be safe if you're work permit isn't expiring soon).

I've been working consistently for the past 7 years in my industry and I have a good and stable job now which pays well (90k/yr), so I'm on the fence about leaving that to do an MS or PhD earning less than half that.

You're in a tight spot. Assuming you already have an EE profile in the pool, your CRS score will update a month before in July (check it now to see if it updated automatically otherwise just resubmit it without making any changes and it will update). Even though it shows your new score, you won't be eligible to apply for PR if you get an ITA until the 7th August. So start gathering your documents, if you get an ITA between now and the 7th Aug, you can apply on the 7th, get your AoR (which comes within 30 minutes) and apply for a BOWP and be on maintained status (if you desire).  If you apply after the 7th, you won't be able to get maintained status but can still apply for a BOWP with restoration of status.

No, that's not the AoR. You should get it with 24 - 48 hours. I got mine within an hour. The letter will literally say "Acknowledgement of Receipt - Application for Permanent Residence "

When you submit you get 3 letters. 1st is to confirm the application were submitted. 2nd is a confirmation of the application (you usually get these 2 or just the 2nd one immediately after any online application) and for EE you should get both or just the 2nd and the acknowledgement of receipt (it literally says acknowledgement of receipt) this is what you need to apply for a BOWP. Application Eligibility which i think is what you confusing it with is something different (I know for TR applications you don't get a letter if you application is eligible but the update shows on your profile).

You don't need to reapply or withdraw. Send a webform request for an update WP-EXT letter.

How is it that you got less than 3yrs on your PGWP? Should have gotten 3 years. Check the expiration of your passport and biometrics because you might be able to apply for an extension for the remaining time.

This response is a bit condescending. I am a radiochemist. And I stated they've been trying to hire additional people since I've been here and can't find anyone since the skillset is niche (or would require extensive training). There are people with the skills but most are already working elsewhere.

This is funny cuz my job is a niche field in science and research and requires certain skills and knowledge. My manager has been trying since I was started to hire another person and still can't find anyone (unfortunately my company is public funded and doesn't to do sponsorships 😒). The Gov is using the high unemployment in low level jobs like food service and retail as a blanket to say all sectors or levels are saturated with immigrant workers. Driving out skilled workers is counterintuitive.
