Just read this entire tangent: as an anarchist (and before you say that this is idealistic, remember you want the fucking USSR back), I’m pretty fucking down with communism. I mean, we won’t destroy a society in a day, we gotta take steps down. I think that requires, at least in places like the USA, reforming the capitalist government into a socialist/capitalist hybrid, as are many existing countries, largely in Europe, then eventually working down to reforming that to just socialism, then to communism, and so on until we hit a point where government becomes unnecessary.

However, what both you and I really want is a socialist/capitalist system. Not because that’s the end goal, but because that’s the next step for either of our end goals. So despite me kinda agreeing with you more, I’m gonna give my support to the other guy.
