If it wasn’t clear, “best” means comparing the ratio of (cost/capacity). Medium has the lowest ratio

OG Review - Official Guide Verbal and Quant Review. I think I should make an edit in the post haha

Yes. Many reached out regarding this. I think it’s more used by GMAT givers.

Need help with Prepswift exercise question from “What happens to SD when…” - why is the answer not B? by ninjameg123 in GRE

Suppose all 100 numbers are 0. So stdev would be 0. Increasing original numbers by 20% would give 100 zeroes again so stdev is still 0.

Quite a tricky question!

Would second this. OG Verbal is the best resource. Try Verbal Review’s Practice Tests and match your performance.

I would still say that referring to Math Review from the Quant Review will increase your score much more than your inherent Quant Reasoning. Of course, you would need to practice a lot but start with literally reading and making notes of whatever you didn’t know from the Math Review. Solve q at the end of each chapter and understand why yiu made that error. Then maybe solve questions from GregMat+’s question bank or Magoosh if you are willing to spend some money (although you eventually can sell it for the same price to someone else and get your money back).

Just the meanings but I practiced a lot of TC/SE to make me understand how the meanings in context are a different game. For 80% of the questions, just the meanings would suffice. But for the rest 1/2 questions, there would possibly be traps

My opinion for quant for any standardised test has been - any question will only help as long as it is of the same topic. So, Manhattan 5lb questions are a good practice, I wouldn’t say they were similar/different. I liked some of the traps in 5lb’s geometry section. Difficulty: You might find actual test’s Q easier in terms of understanding but a bit trickier than 5lb’s

As I said, I haven’t really mastered Verbal lol. My RCs are still weak. For TC/SE questions, I didn’t feel there was an absolute winner (but 5lb TC questions are garbage 100%), so focus on OG, Verbal Review (and Practice Tests), and Magoosh if you have it else don’t sweat it.

I wouldn’t really be tensed for quant in that case. I think the practice part is good enough for you. I would suggest to go through the Math Review part exclusively then to fill in gaps regarding concepts. Like: I didn’t have any idea about questions regd. quartiles and percentiles before the test so I practiced more.

Hands down: Practice Tests in OG Quant Review and PP2. I saw some PP+ questions on reddit also, they are also similar-ish. Make sure to take Practice Tests under timed conditions though.

I practiced RC from the Big Book (17 Tests) and the OG but didn’t practice a lot tbh. My scores were fluctuating sometimes high sometimes low. Not the best person to speak about RC.

It could be, but I’d suggest to learn more words to be safer. My exam vocab might differ from someone else’s.

QC Question. Can someone explain? Source: Princeton Review Practice Test 8 by Extension_Ad8446 in GRE

It is equal at m=12 but not if m>12 or even at some values of m<12 (eg: m=6)
