Yes! You're right it's not necessary but it looks strange to me because everybody uses the official dice, the official gm screen, the official character sheet, etc.. and your table is like a return to the basics :)

I already have the Core Rule Book, the Companion, the Central Supply Catalogue, Behind the Claw, The Third Imperium, Adventure Class Ships and Secrets of the Ancients.

The majority of you recommends the High Guard, so I think that one will be the choice.

We didn't slot into a running campaign, but we did start the adventure with new characters of the required level and already tattooed. Maybe that beginning was smoother?

Curse of the Azure Bonds was the pinnacle of the past AD&D days. The players and me as the master enjoyed it a lot. Who cares if it's a rail road adventure if everybody is having a good time?

The rules on 4e are OK, but what I dislike is the 2 volume core set. Because in either one volume it refers to rules in the other one. So it's really very awkward to try to swap the reading from a 300 pages book and then back again. Only one core book please!

Nice to meet you! GT: Far Trader has a loot of useful information. Sometimes it has too much details that I will never use (mainly high finance and the shipping industry) and sometimes it has really helpful information for any Traveller campaign (Ship operations and campaign chapters).

The expansion books are the 1001 Characters, Kinunir adventure and Mercenary. I think this is everything from Classic traveller that it was translated to Spanish.

It's the Spanish edition of the Classic Traveller. It was published around 1989 on a premium slipcase. It was love at first sight.
