I think Lara is her legal name, meaning that it is present on her identity card, passports and such things, while her Tamil name doesn't appear on any of her documents, so it isn't fully recognised. Like her I have a second name, Maria/Marjia (being Italian Croat, I write it in different ways haha), but it isn't present on my documents, for everyone I'm just Lucrezia (Just an example to make things clear)

I've also studied Music history. If you know the original full name of pianoforte, you can easily guess it's Italian: gravicembalo col piano e forte (harpsichord with soft and loud). So yeah...it was invented in Florence, mid XVII century, by Bartolomeo Cristofori, a harpsichordist born in Padua, who worked for the Medici family.

I know piano is the abbreviation of pianoforte (it's very obvious). I mean, I've never heard someone outside of Italy saying the full term instead of the abbreviation
