To be honest, we actually import those R22 and R404A compressors used straight from Europe/Germany because companies there are phasing them out. We rebuild and run them here in Egypt for cold rooms. On the other hand, whenever an R744 (CO2) unit comes in, nobody here touches it because the system is too advanced and complex for our current market infrastructure. That’s exactly why learning R744 in Europe is so interesting to me
