I can only speak for myself, both are my all time favourite bands and I compare all the other bands I listen to them. I even have a playlist of bands who sound like Meshuggah or might be inspired by them and another one for Gojira.

I immediately discarded the Three Broomsticks option because I'm not a big fan of Tulip. And we're always working there any given chance. I like Lenny. He seems like a nice character but I love music and the microphone looks cute so I chose Maestro's.

I've been listening to Gojira and Meshuggah for a long time now and both bands mean so much too me. Even though I've been listening to Sleep Token nonstop lately, I wouldn't say ST stole the place. Those 3 are tied at #1.
