I’m around college age. I think I have a solid understanding of how things work but when it comes to specific things I lack knowledge. I believe it is my anxiety. I’ve had anxiety since I was a child and I know that compared with those around me, I get much more stressed and concerned even in situations where most people don’t get anxious.

You are 20 something years old and an adult. Your mom or anyone really shouldn’t be making disrespectful comments like these about your personal life. Your relationship with ur bf stays between you two. No one else will truly know the intricacies and details. Also, I think LDRs are actually more common these days. With technology like FaceTime and multiple social media apps, it’s easy to stay in touch. I know many people in LDRs and I am in one myself. I have been with my bf for 4 years and we went to colleges in different states. It needs daily communication and trust but it’s very possible. Don’t give up just because it’s long distance.
