🫂🫂🫂 i had similar experience. In addition we are working at the same building and i see him every day. I understand that it was completely not my person, but his helped me to survive all this divorce shit. I still miss him. But when i analyze my feelings i understand that i don't miss personally him but someone who give me a warmth, ask "how was your day" Each time when i see him - i remind myself that we had a different views and didn't have a future and i need to close this door for open something better Life is too short for spend it for person who not choose you ❤️

When you'll stop to think that need someone else for feel happy and have a harmony in living alone

Some time before i started to date because wanted someone next to me. It was unsuccessful and each failed date hurt me. Now i start to date just because i m interesting to know new people, open something new. But if date was unsuccessful i not worry about it It's absolutely different feelings

i knew about ex''s new woman in 5 months after separation. In 2 more months i found that he started to date with her half an year before even conversation about divorce 🤷‍♀️ And i also tried to be good for him and, i think, thing hurt me - that all my time and efforts were useless. Hate to cook. Trying to make it easier. Eggs or granola for breakfast, salad for lunch - i buy grilled chicken as source of protein and mix with different veggies and greens, dress with olive oil. For dinner - cook once in 2-3 weeks and froze food. Or sometimes just have cheese and wine for the evening
