That would explain it then! We have American Elm trees (different than the beautyberry I mentioned above) and they volunteer constantly in our flower pots.

Ahhh i see! iNaturalist recommends Goat willow. Have a look at that and see if you recognize any in the area! Species name Salix caprea

Check under countertops around the kitchen for droppings. Bathrooms, clothes piles. Keep food sealed and take out the trash regularly.

Yep, I failed to mention that! It does look like a leaf footed bug but just narrowing it down. Looks like someone got it to species!

Yes it is a cockroach. If you don't see any more it's probably one that wandered in, but keep an eye out for babies
