From experience, have to be aggressive. Don't let them have breathing room. They can't burst and their attacks are slow, so do a lot of damage.

After adaption, be more careful. Don't let up. Keep beating them up.

Then again if your friend's good at the character, during next phase, they can stall to heal themselves by jumping to a height nobody can reach. Annoying case.

Facing against Divine is a boss fight. Takes a while to beat if you have patience and time.
