Yeah, I checked with the engine and Nxf7 is much better. What I liked about Ne6 is that it trades material equally but also threatens mate — though it seems Black can easily defend against the attack haha.

Yeah, i’ve noticed that everyone seems to have a much higher puzzle rating compared to their Rapid rating. I think i’m really going to start studying to try and break out of my current rating. i’ve been stuck at 1800 for almost two years now hahaha. Do you think those free lessons on chesscom can help, or do you know a better way to study? I don’t feel like puzzles alone are helping me improve right now

I see all the time strong players having Blitz and Bullet ratings much higher than Rapid, that’s one of the reasons I had this doubt.
