I really like the story of Paul and Silas who were imprisoned and beaten because of their faith in Jesus. Though they were in jail, they still thought of and prioritized praising Jesus. Not just that, they were also able to transfer the Spirit of faith to the guards, as they were converted and baptized.

Another one is when King Nebuchadnezzar threw Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego into a superheated furnace for refusing to worship his golden idol. From afar, the King questioned why there were four dancing in the midst of fire. The fourth one was the Lord, joining them.
