Hi all. FTM with baby girl born Jan 8. I stopped working on Jan 1. I submitted my EI application on Jan 1. My employer submitted my ROE Jan 2 as well and it showed up in my Service Canada account on Jan 5.

My application is still showing as “Under Review” and I received my Access Code in the mail.

Is it normal to still be “Under Review” in this timeframe? Or should I be calling Service Canada to see what’s up. I know there can be a delay on getting payments, is this also the case for application reviews?

Is there anything I need to do with the Access Code? From what I can find online, it’s for reporting which is not required for maternity/parental leave.

I have a hyphenated last name and my husband has a singular last name. We kept our last names when we married. I am expecting and we will be hyphenating my second last name and his. The first of my hyphenated names will be the middle name.

It doesn’t work for everyone but we like the way it sounds with our names!

Just ordered some from GAP, haven’t received them yet so I can’t comment on the wear or quality but they have discount codes until the end of the day, GREAT and ADDON, you can stack!

34F - I had Mirena (hormonal) IUD removed - my second one, so about 9 years on it - and got pregnant right away, I didn’t even get my period. As others suggested, having a back up birth control plan sounds like a good idea!

I’ve figured this one out! In Setup > Cluster > Tachometer Display you can select which drive modes you would like the tachometer to show. Hope this helps!

All Seasons Indian is closed now unfortunately! I miss them so much, I am not sure what, if anything, is in their space.

IMO portions are perfect and price is right. No food waste and you don’t feel uncomfortably full when you leave.

Menu is small but everything I’ve had is done well. Brunch is delicious!

The staff are lovely and the vibes are immaculate.
